Instructor Opportunities

PLS has developed a national cadre of instructors who are certified to teach one or more of the PLS on-site and/or online graduate courses.

Our instructors are known for their expertise, and they are recognized as one of the driving forces behind the success of our courses. Approximately 90 percent of our instructors are full-time classroom teachers. All instructors are approved as adjunct faculty of our accredited partner colleges and universities.

We are always searching for extraordinary on-site teachers and online facilitators to join our instructor cadres.

Requirements for On-site Instructors

• Earned Master's degree. Doctorate/terminal degree required for applicants in TN and SC.
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience.
• Successful completion of at least one PLS graduate course.
• Recognized by peers and administrators as an exceptional teacher.
• A willingness to instruct 2 to 5 courses per year.
• Computer literate, internet savvy, and have year-long access to email.
