Master’s of Science Degree in Educational Development & Strategies (EDS)

The Master's of Science in Educational Development & Strategies (EDS) is designed to meet the needs of practicing teachers by combining effective practices with theory and research in a convenient, cost-effective manner. Students will grow their knowledge base as well as gain practical skills and techniques that are directly applicable to their classroom. This is a non-thesis program that consists of 30 credits. A choice of four PLS courses, 12 credits, are embedded into the program. The program may be completed at Wilkes University campus or at any of the off-campus sites. Online courses can also be completed in any location worldwide if the student has internet access.

If you want to be a leader in the growing field of online teaching, consider the new Master’s of Science in Online Teaching degree program offered by Wilkes University and Performance Learning Systems (PLS). Learn to create a community of online learners and assure individual success. This 30-credit program is offered completely online. You are required to take 15 credits of Wilkes-designed courses and 15 credits from PLS-designed courses to complete the degree requirements.

Master of Science in Teaching and Learning Program
University of St. Francis – Joliet, Illinois
The Teaching and Learning masters program allows teachers and administrators to discover ways to improve the academic achievement of students and develop professional school leadership. Courses will address the myriad of issues and needs which school communities face in a climate of evolving standards, curriculum change, school improvement, and strategic planning efforts. All courses emphasize the integration of theory, research-based best practices, and meaningful applications. Educators may elect to take a minimum of 12, maximum of 18 hours from Performance Learning Systems and an additional 18 hours of core courses from the university to complete the 36-hour program.
