My Favorite Teaching Moment
Teaching, to me, is about relationships. Watching a group of participants, who began as strangers, come together by the end of a course as a connected community of professional learners is gratifying. Teachers have so much to share with one another, and PLS courses are the perfect vehicle to rekindle the passion that makes us great teachers.
Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses
I believe passionately that PLS courses make a difference in the lives of both students and teachers. It is never just a course to me. It is so rewarding to see teachers inspired by their learning and motivated to put strategies that they learned over a weekend into their classrooms on Monday. I love to be able to exemplify what I’ve learned as I teach PLS courses. These are real strategies for real classrooms, including PLS classrooms. I also love to see participants having fun with their learning!

When I’m not teaching, I love to play Oldtimers’ Hockey, tennis, and golf. My wife, Linda, and I enjoy wilderness canoe tripping with our family. Our grandkids are a special delight in our lives.
