My Favorite Teaching Moment

Each and every day brings new joys and challenges, whether I am working with adults or my first graders! I love the energy of the job and trying to make my energy and love for learning and teaching contagious. My favorite teaching moments are the ones that me laugh, make me cry, and are full of the unexpected and overwhelming pride I have for my students and the job. Whether the student is 6 or 60, it is the “Aha” lightbulb moments that make it all worthwhile.

Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses

Teaching colleagues in PLS courses, provides the gift of a reciprocal relationship in education—while my students learn from me as their facilitator, I in turn learn wonderful things from my students! I also know with confidence every student will leave each course with something new they can use immediately in any discipline they teach!
