My Favorite Teaching Moment

There is always satisfaction in seeing the student benefit and grow. Nothing feels better, but as selfish as this may sound, I most enjoy learning from students.

Several great moments in teaching remain with me. At the end of the semester, students realize they have done something they weren’t sure they could. They look back and count what they have learned. When they are proud of themselves, that’s when I feel like I’ve made a difference.

Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses

PLS courses are well designed and developed to engage participants in active and interactive learning. From the facilitator’s perspective, these classes are a dream to teach! The students are mature, graduate level learners who are dedicated to their own education. I enjoy the opportunities I get to learn from the students, as well. Working with so many and such a variety of educators is a real shot in the arm. I always end a class with more ideas than I can use. This is a truly professional atmosphere.
