My Favorite Teaching Moment

I love the fact that I work with so many different personalities each day, and each student has something different to contribute.

I can not pinpoint just one moment. I have to admit that my favorite moments include watching my students taking control of their own learning. It often takes a lot of planning, modeling, and motivation, and it can be very discouraging at times. However, it is such a good feeling when you can turn the classroom over to the students, and you can observe them working together and taking pride in their work and success.

Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses

I truly believe that the PLS courses directly relate to our classrooms. Each course offers a variety of ways in which we can collaborate with other teachers while we are improving and sharpening our skills as educators. The courses provide a way for us to learn new strategies, apply them, reflect on them, and adapt them. It is a great way to learn from each other.
