My Favorite Teaching Moment

I love the “Aha!” moments in teaching. I love it when students come back to you and tell you “thank you.” When that happens it means that as a teacher, I made a difference in that student’s life at one point.

I implemented sustain silent reading in my 9th grade classes. One of my students told me she had never read a novel before. By the end of the year, this particular student had read four novels. She told me that if I didn’t encourage her to read novels, she would have never found such interesting books!

Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses

I enjoy working and helping educators develop methods and strategies to increase student achievement in the classroom. Education is very important to me and I feel that PLS is a great resource to help our educators improve their skills in guiding our students toward better success!
