My Favorite Teaching Moment
What I love about my job is that I’ve never considered it a "job." Every day is different. Every class period, I have to be totally flexible. I received such a huge compliment when a former student asked me to sing for her wedding. So many times in the middle-school years, you don’t know whether you are making a difference or not. When students come back and tell me just that, I know that the impact has been felt.
Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses
PLS courses allow me to share my enthusiasm for teaching with peers. Participants are able to apply so much to what they are currently teaching. It makes it meaningful to them and to their students.
