My Favorite Teaching Moment

The thing I like most about teaching is talking to former students many years after they have graduated and hearing them say, “I really enjoyed your class” or “You were my favorite teacher.” Comments like that make me feel like I have done my job!

One day my accelerated Science students wanted to show me a performance they came up with to help them remember the steps of the hydrologic cycle. Of course I said yes! They all lined up in the classroom and began their performance. It was to the theme of the Pepto Bismol commercial. It was hilarious! I laughed for days. They completely caught me off guard with that one.

Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses

Having had a wonderful PLS instructor and thoroughly enjoying every course I took, I felt that I could do the same for new and veteran teachers by providing the PLS opportunity in a close-to-home location and a comfortable environment. I enjoy the opportunity of meeting and talking with many great teachers around the Central Pennsylvania area.
