My Favorite Teaching Moment

Interacting with some of the nicest, mature, and responsible young ladies and gentlemen in an attempt to broaden their knowledge of mathematics.

I once had a student that saw a correlation between the concepts that I was teaching in a unit and how these concepts applied to where he could use these in later real life situations. This student answered the question that always comes up. Why do we have to know this? I am never going to use this the rest of my life.

Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses

PLS gets the teacher and the student involved in using the creative thinking process. It also gives the instructor more teaching strategies to implement to improve their method of teaching.
