My Favorite Teaching Moment

Simply put I take pleasure in teaching because I truly enjoy creating and educating in environments that yield many “ah-ha,” “I didn’t know,” “I can’t wait to use what I learned” moments! I have been in education for 10 years and that exciting feeling I have when teaching is still the same! That “giddy” feeling and seeing my students’ succeed in any type of setting is why I will always love teaching!

My favorite moments in teaching are when my students send me emails or call me personally to share strategies that were taught in class are now working in their own classroom environment! You can’t beat that and knowing what we are doing, teaching and believe is actually working and having a positive impact in all types of educational settings!
