My Favorite Teaching Moment

I really enjoy watching my students grow socially and emotionally by accepting more responsibility for their actions throughout the year. It’s also great to see them become aware of the world around them (since I teach world geography). Teaching middle school students can be quite amusing at times. You just never know what’s going to happen. If you teach in a middle school, you know what I mean.
It’s a great feeling running into former students, years later, and having them tell me how much they enjoyed my class and how valuable it’s been to their life after high school. Many of my former students travel due to their occupations or have been deployed overseas because of their military commitment.

Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses

PLS classes provide an effective solution to real-life classroom situations. They also provide an opportunity to share ideas with the other members of the class which is extremely beneficial.
